How many members are there for each group in the lottery syndicate?

We will aim for a maximum of only 21 members for each lottery syndicate group to avoid diluting the prize in case of a jackpot win.

How are you going to buy The National Lottery tickets for every £5 contributions?

a)    From October 2015 until August 2016 we will only be playing when there are significantly more chances to win at least a millions such as in the EuroMillions MegaFriday when 10 millionaires are made in a draw or when other promotions creating several multimillionaire are offered.

b)    From September 2016 we will be spending the contributions buying lottery tickets which can be any of Camelot’s game that we feel will give us better value for our money. This is in consideration of the frequent changes and offers being made by Camelot.

I am a new member, will I receive fewer tickets in a group?

We never allow members to be on their own. Even if you are the only one member in a new group, we will buy the extra tickets needed to make each group worth £80.

How are the prizes going to be shared?

For Lottery Tickets with cash prize winning/s of more than £1,000

a)    First, we will allocate the winnings on Group Shares:

For a winning Lottery Ticket, 80% of the prize will be allocated to the main group who has the winning ticket. The other 20% of the prize will be shared equally by all of our Lotto groups.

b)    Second, Member's shares:

There will be 21 shares in each Lottery Syndicate group and you will be entitled to one of the 21 shares (1/21) in each of the groups that you belong with.

For Lottery Ticket with cash prize winning/s of £1000 or less

a)    First, we will allocate the winnings on Group Shares:

Prize will be allocated equally to all groups.

b)     Second, Member’s shares

There will be 21 shares in each Lottery group and you will be entitled to one of the 21 shares (1/21) in each of the groups that you belong with.

In great event of a jackpot win, the system above will allow members in the winning group to enjoy a life changing experience while sharing a bit of the luck to everyone else.

For minor prizes of £1000 or less, sharing the prizes equally will greatly save us time in computing individual winnings and send winnings in a monthly basis.

For Non-cash prizes, the prize will stay with the group who has the winning ticket until it is converted or wins a cash prize. The system of sharing will then be the same as cash prize winning/s sharing.

When can I play after joining the group?

To allocate groups efficiently, we can only include new members if application form and payment is processed before the 1st draw of the month as below.

Moneybookers

If you subscribe at or before the 20th of the month, you will be included in the following month’s lottery syndicate group. If you make subscription after the 20th of the month, we will include you in the month after next.

Standing Order

This takes on average one to five working days  for payments to be processed.

If you arranged Standing Order at or before the 25th of the month, you will be included in the following month’s lottery syndicate group. If you make subscription after the 25th of the month, we will include you in the month after next. Further details of our account is available on the Join Now page.

We may however still have few extra spaces available that we can allocate on a first come first serve basis but this is not a guarantee when payment comes so near the draw date.

What happens if a member fails to give any contribution on time?

For the protection of all members, we operate on no pay, no play policy. A member who has not given his contribution or payment on time for the administrator/manager to process will not receive any share of the winnings of any lottery syndicate group.

We can make an offer as part of our promotion but everyone still have to comply with our terms and conditions. An offer is only valid once we have made an explicit promotion offer and a member have accepted before a draw. Promotion should be explicitly stated in our email correspondence as well.

What can I do to avoid missing out on our lottery syndicate group?

The easiest thing to do is by making payments early.

Some members also choose to make a deposit (totally refundable) which can be used if payments are missed for some reason.

If a member contributed at least £15 and his chosen numbers won the jackpot, will he get more shares?

Being in the same group with one member who got more shares just because he chose the winning number means his gain would be your loss or the other way around. Getting 50% or 60% of the winnings is of little difference from playing on your own.

21 members winning together and potentially having a life changing experience will be better than one member enjoying the winnings while others share the spoils.

The answer is no. We play and win together.

Can everyone join our lottery syndicate?

Everyone is welcome to join provided:

a) They are at least 18 years of age;

b) Capable of entering a legally binding agreement or contract and;

We will assign you an alias which will be the first 2 letters of your First name and first letter of your Surname and with designated numbers. E.g. Ma10S145 for Matthew Smith.

This is for protecting your confidentiality and at the same time you will also know that it is you by looking at the initials.

We will then allocate you in one of the groups.

Do lottery syndicate group members get a copy of the tickets before the draw?

Yes. We will upload the numbers in the Ticket menu and/or email you copies of the lottery tickets before the draw.

When will I get copies of tickets?

You will start getting copies of the tickets before the first draw of the month i.e. if you submit your application form and complete payment in March, you will be included in April group and receive the tickets before the first draw in April.

Am I in any obligation to pay every month?

No. Although most of our members pay by monthly subscription, you are not in any obligation to pay monthly unless you want to play. Essentially, you will only pay if you want to join and play with us.

If members plan to leave the syndicate or take a pass on particular month, please inform us of your plan so we can estimate how many groups and tickets we need to buy for the active members. Also kindly give us information where we can send your remaining winnings.

Can I pay more than £25 a month?

Many lottery winners won because they persisted and played more than once. Our site is designed to provide an affordable and sustainable lottery syndicate that members can enjoy to play every month until we hopefully reach our goal of winning a major prize. If you can afford to contribute more in a monthly basis, sustain it and still enjoy the experience then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. At our current pace, we can accept up to £50 a month via Standing order sharing £800 main lotto tickets across 10 main groups.

How will I know if I’ve won?

You will have access to your lotto group’s national lottery ticket numbers.

Around the middle and at the end of the month, we will post a summary of our winnings, groups’ allocated prize and each member’s winnings. This will be earlier if we win something big of course.

How am I going to get paid?

We calculate our total winnings every month.

We calculate each individuals shares every three months (earlier with big wins). We then send share once winnings reach at least £10 or upon request. This is mainly for administrative and practical purpose. We can pay via the same method that you used to pay us:

A) Bank to bank generally has no charge on minor payments. Majority of our members use this option for transactions.

B) Moneybookers is detailed and requires a bit of patience. They also charge the highest among the three options. Please use it only as a last resort.

C) Any other mode of payment will be under the discretion of the Guide2lotto ltd.

Any charges in payment will be charged/deducted to the member.

Winnings of or over £1,000 will require further proof of identity. We may also ask for further identification if we are in doubt.

Payments will be made once the winning ticket prize has been paid by Camelot LTD to our lottery syndicate.

What happens if tickets are not bought in time?

We will buy the tickets in the next possible date. Winnings and prizes will only be shared with valid members in the month that the tickets should have been bought.

Will I go public in the event of big winnings?

It is up to the individual concerned if he wants to go public but UK-lotterysyndicate and its manager/administrator will not be responsible if other people manage to identify a member through the website or his association to UK-lottery syndicate.

It is however the discretion of the guide2lotto limited company if the company will go public or not.

Once you submitted an application form, please check inbox for a response from us within 3-5 working days. If not found, please check your junk or spam folder and email us for any other queries.

I just paid, when will I receive my number?

We buy tickets on a monthly basis and copies of tickets with groupings will be available in the Tickets section of our site.

This will be available for download at the beginning of the month just before the first main lotto draw.

Do you play the Euromillions?

We only play the EuroMillions on special occasions such as the Supermillionaire raffle draws where more than one millionaires are made for the millionaire raffle.

The odds of 1 in 116,531,800 is simply too much.

When am I going to get paid?

We often get this question although it is  detailed in our FAQs.

On summary:

Around the middle and at the end of each month, we will update you of our total winnings.

Every 3 months, we calculate the winnings of each group and allocate each member’s shares. We will then send your share of winnings once it reaches at least £10 or upon request.

Obviously, we will be sharing earlier if big wins fortunately come our way.

Will it be safe to play with your syndicate or with colleagues and friends?

Both can be safe depending on several safeguards and by learning on the mistakes that other syndicates made.

Reading on several cases of disagreements in lottery syndicates, 2 issues frequently comes up:

A) Having no lottery syndicate agreement

and

B) Not knowing what lines they were playing.

In our syndicate, sharing of prizes are detailed in our Terms and conditions. Members can also download a copy of the groupings and tickets before a draw. With safeguards in place to protect each member’s interest, UK-Lotterysyndicate.com is designed to avoid any disagreement in case of major wins.
