I often get asked about financial issues in my practice but just like many of us, money is never taught in my school and much of my financial knowledge is based on practical experience. So how do I advise those who seem to be jumping from one financial misadventure to another?
I have read several outstanding financial books (which I will discuss at the end) but when it comes to advise about debt and savings, one book just stands above the rest. The Total Money Makeover: Classic Edition: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness. You can borrow in the library or buy one. For those whose concentration is not the best or just want a quick read, I also have written a summary of the book.
